A lovely bungalow. Very clean and well equipped with everything you need. Lots of extra welcome gifts were much appreciated. A real home from home for us.

Mrs H Hardiman ,

My husband and I have just spent a super week at Lansdowne Park in Totnes. The bungalow is light, airy and comfy and has everything you need, enhanced with some super 'welcome goodies!' It's a very quiet area and very walkable into Totnes. Totnes is a fantastic town - lots of independent shops and cafes and a lovely community vibe. Nice walks by the river too. Lots to do in the area. Lovely towns, villages and countryside - we definitely hope to be back! Thanks again Ian and Jo

Sue Miller,

This our 3rd stay and 2nd one at Christmas. Such a cosy place to spend Christmas and Ian and Jo left not only a welcome pack but a beautiful Christmas tree too! This is an ideal base for us visiting family on the coast and moors and we love Totnes with its independent shops and cafes and the wonderful Albert Inn. Truly a home from home.

Ms Rachel Brittle,

The bungalow is reasonably spacious, with a private garden to the rear. The location is in a residential area, but we found it quiet and we never heard our neighbours all week. It had everything you are likely to need for a weeks holiday, plus some additional goodies left by Ian. Totnes town is a 10 min walk away and there is plenty to do in the surrounding area, with excellent transport links.

Simon and Sue,

We enjoyed our stay in Totnes.
The house is very clean, cosy, and fully equipped.
It is located in a quiet area.
We appreciated the warm welcome and goodies that were provided.
The Totnes/South-Devon area has lots of stuff to visit.
We really had a very good holiday.

Rik en Tine Verstraete,

We spent a comfortable and relaxing week at Lansdowne Park in mid June. The bungalow was well-equipped and we appreciated the welcoming touches. It was well-placed for exploring Dartmoor and other local places of interest. We also enjoyed walking into town and sitting by the River Dart. We look forward to staying there again.

Dorothy Berwick and Brian Smith,

We have had two lovely peaceful and homely stays in the bungalow, having come to visit my mum in nearby Dartington and sister in Buckfastleigh. Greeted on both occasions with a special touch; a bottle of wine, speciality biscuits, fruit and milk in the fridge; so thoughtful. Bob the bus can be hailed at the end of the driveway and a handy Spar is just opposite and a nearby path leading down to the river Dart, makes a beautiful evening! The garden is just right too, sheltered patio in the sun and breakfast on the little seat at the top overlooking the church and hills is a must!! Thank you so much Ian and Jo - looking forward to returning later in the year.

Alison Paul,

This property is in a good location with a Spar in the next road and walkable into the town centre. The accommodation was as described and clean, it was in a quiet location and there is a private back garden. The property was well equipped and comfortable. Ian was prompt in responding to queries and left a very generous welcome pack. I would have no hesitation in recommending both this property and the town of Totnes for your next holiday.

Clean, quiet bungalow in a good location. Bungalow was comfortable and well-equipped and maintained; it had everything we needed and more. Nice garden with views. Happy to recommend.

Lovely bungalow in a great location. We had a lovely week in Totnes. The bungalow was clean and comfortable, and very well equipped. We were made to feel very welcome with a card, wine, fruit, biscuits and milk. The bungalow is ideally situated with a short walk into town, and for exploring the beautiful coast and countryside. We hope to be back soon.

Vikki F.,

We have just returned from a great holiday. The bungalow has recently been carefully refurbished and is very well equipped with lots of little extras to make you feel at home. It is modern, clean and comfortable. We stayed in November and were lovely and warm. It was a very nice gesture to find wine, fruit, biscuits and even milk in the fridge. These were particularly welcome after a long drive. Totnes town centre is within easy reach by foot, as is a riverside walk. "Bob the Bus" will stop outside and was particularly useful in avoiding parking in town. Thank you Ian and Jo for a very comfortable holiday.

Terence P.,

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this very well equipped and comfortable bungalow. The fruit, flowers, milk, wine and biscuits left by the hosts made us feel very welcome. We will certainly be staying here again.

Excellent self catering property in every respect. We came to Totnes to visit a Grandaughter who has recently moved to the Town, and found this Gem . It has everything that you could wish for, comfortable clean, ideal for our stay of only 4 days, the welcome treats of delicious biscuits, bottle of wine, selection of fruits and flowers were much appreciated. The weather unfortunately was a bit changeable,so we were not able to enjoy the rear garden and patio. If we plan future visits to Totnes we will definitely choose this as our number one option. Thank you Ian and Jo . Michael and Elizabeth Brewer. September 2018

Michael Brewer,

Hi ! We spent one week, as a family, in this spacious, comfortable bungalow and what a great time we had ! In fact, this house is particularly well located. It's 10 minutes walk from Totnes center and it's easy (and not too far) to explore the town and its surroundings like the South West coast, for those like Walking and go to the beach, or Dartmoor National Park with great wilderness areas ! Moreover, this bungalow has a garden and that's sympathetic too ! To finish, even if we didn't test it, there is a bus stop just in front of the bungalow and seems very practical to go to town on a rainy day ! Anyway, we recommend this accommodation and its hosts, who are very welcoming and charming. It was a pleasure to speak with them!

Nathalie Garcia,

Extremely well presented property very spacious light and welcoming. Wine, fruit, milk and biscuits plus fresh flowers and card an extra special touch. The property is in an ideal location for a walk into Totnes and exploring the beautiful coast and countryside. It was good to meet Ian and we would be delighted to stay here again in the future. Roger B.,

Excellent accommodation. Clean, comfortable and tidy with a welcoming feel. Totnes is an interesting area to visit with river, train and bus trips available as well as some good walking.

Graham B.,

Our second stay and just as good as our first. Lovely welcome pack with wine, (vegan) Easter egg, fruit and 2 types of milk. The bungalow is clean and comfortable- perfect after a day out and about in the area. Thank you Ian!

Rachel B.,

I have just spent an extended stay with my two adult daughters (6 weeks in total) and I would thoroughly recommend this comfortable, modern house within a ten minute walk in to town. Ian is a lovely, warm host who is around if needed but unobtrusive otherwise. We have been here in December and January and the house has remained warm and cosy throughout all weathers! The area is residential - and really quiet, with a corner shop close by. The house has been recently refurbished so everything feels clean, bright and modern. The kitchen has everything we have needed whilst here and the bedrooms have been spacious for the three of us. Ian and Jo kindly left some very welcome gifts and all the basics (cooking oil, salt & pepper, tea, coffee, cling film etc as well as some toiletries) in the kitchen and bathroom which was really useful and meant we could settle in straightaway. There are books, games and information on the area. Totnes is a great location for exploring the area. Dartmouth, Brixham and Torquay are really close and Salcombe, Exeter, Plymouth and Dartmoor are all within 30-40 minutes. Totnes, itself, is great to wander around with lots of cafes and independent shops. From the house there are walks along the River Dart and the countryside surrounding the town. I would happily recommend this house to family and friends.
